This course is organized into eight modules, designed to be followed individually and at your own pace. The minimum time to complete the course is eight days, based on one module per day. If you are just starting out, we strongly advise you to maintain momentum and not stop until you finish — regular, steady progress is the key to success.
This course introduces the fundamental concepts, standards, and operational practices that underpin addressing and postcodes within the postal sector. It explores why reliable addresses matter for delivery, inclusion, commerce, and public services, and how countries can strengthen their addressing systems in a rapidly digitalizing world.
Each module includes activities designed to reinforce your learning. If you successfully complete all required activities and meet the conditions for the course, you will receive an electronic certificate of participation signed by the Universal Postal Union.
